1Your profile
Rank graphYour rank over the last 90 days, updated every minute. Hover it to see your rank at every point.Pinned scoresShow off your favourite plays: click the on any of your score cards (or "Pin to profile" on a score page). #1 / #2 / #3The top 3 of a leaderboard get a title on their profile: gold Kuroosu Champion, silver and bronze. Your rank card turns gold, silver or bronze too.Ex ChampionHold #1 for at least 30 days in a row and you keep the Ex Kuroosu Champion title forever, even after someone takes your spot.Which modesTitles only count in modes with at least 5 ranked players.Hall of FameHall of Fame: who held #1 the longest, the biggest plays of every mode, who reached 1k / 5k / 10k pp first, most #1s, longest daily streaks, clan war winners and top recruiters.3Ranked Play
Map of the dayRanked Play has four ladders: Vanilla, Relax, Taiko and Mania (4K). Every mode has three maps of the day (easy, medium and hard) and everyone in that mode gets the same three (new maps at 00:00 UTC). Play any of them: only your best play of the day counts. Pass it with any mods – the pp of your best pass that day are your Rank Points (RP). Retry as often as you want, only your best play of the day counts. Rank Points don't change your normal pp.SeasonsYour Rank Points of a month add up. Every month is a new season and everyone starts at 0 again. At the end of a season you get your final rank as a notification.RanksBronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Legend and Celestial by Rank Points – every rank is just a number of Rank Points, each mode has its own limits (Relax gives more pp, so it needs more RP). Your ranks show on your profile, and you get a notification when you reach a new rank.Season rewardsWhen a season ends you get the rewards of the highest rank you reached in any mode, plus everything below it: Silver a ranked sticker pack for the chat, Gold an avatar frame in your rank colour for the next season, Platinum a glowing name for the next season, Diamond gem particles on your profile and 7 days of Supporter, Legend a title on your profile for good and 14 days of Supporter, Celestial a title for good, a rainbow frame, 30 days of Supporter and a place in the Hall of Fame. The #1 of every mode gets the title “Season Champion”. Everyone who played in the very first season (October 2026) gets the badge “Ranked Play · First Season”. You can switch the frame, the glow and the particles off on the Ranked Play page.StreaksPass a map of the day (any mode) every day to build a streak (medals for 7 and 30 days).RewardsSeason rewards for the ranks you reach are coming soon.4Clans & Clan Wars
ClansJoin a clan on Clans or create your own in Settings → Profile – it is free. The clan leaderboard ranks all clans by total pp, average pp, accuracy or ranked score and shows members, level and clan war wins. The clan picture and the small clan flag (shown next to your members on the leaderboard) are free too. A clan has 10 places; while its owner is a Supporter it has 50 and can set a big banner on the clan page. Nobody is removed when Supporter runs out, the clan just cannot take new members above 10.Clan WarsEvery week (Monday to Sunday, UTC) the clans fight on Clan Wars: all pp from new best scores of the members count. The winner and the MVP of every week are saved forever.5Tournaments
On Tourneys you sign up with one click. Tournaments are 1v1 with a mappool for every round and a bracket; staff enter the results and the winner moves on automatically. Some tournaments need the Verified badge (see Rules). The winner gets the Tournament Winner medal. Every tournament page shows who can join (some are only for a rank range), the prize, the rules, the time of every round and, once you are in, your next match with your opponent and the time.
6Beatmaps
Submit a mapWant a map ranked, loved or unranked? Paste the link on Submit Map, pick the status and add a reason if needed. A nominator reviews it and you get a notification. Max 5 open submissions, one per map.Friends tabOn every beatmap you can switch the leaderboard to Friends: you and the players you follow.Song previewEvery beatmap page has a Preview button to listen to the song.Your #1sWhen someone takes your #1 on a map, you get an in-game message and a notification.7Chat with friends
Open Chat ( at the top) to write with your friends – everyone you follow or who follows you. It's the same chat as in-game: messages you send on the website arrive in osu!, and your in-game messages show up on the website. Send emojis, pictures (you see a preview first), voice messages and Kuroosu stickers (, like "FC!", "1 miss" or "WYSI"), react to messages with , see when your friend is typing and when they read your message, see who is on the website right now (blue dot; green means online in-game), or start a voice call with . Group chats: press New next to Groups, give it a name and an icon and pick your friends (up to 20 people). Everyone can add their own friends, the creator can rename the group and remove people. Group chats are on the website only (not in-game). Press Turn on desktop notifications in the chat or in Settings → Notifications once (there you also choose what you get: messages, calls, notifications, sounds and pop-ups) to get messages, calls and notifications on your PC even when the website is closed (your browser has to be running, e.g. in the background). Chats are not private: they aren't encrypted and our staff can read them to keep everyone safe.
Reply, edit, deletePoint at a message: answers exactly that message, lets you edit or delete your own messages, copy the text, pin a message to the top (in groups only the owner) or report it.CardsSend a link to a score, a map or a profile and it turns into a card with cover, pp and grade.Challenge → Challenge sends one of your scores as “beat this”. You both get a notification when it is beaten.Multiplayer invite → Multiplayer invite invites your friend to the lobby you are in right now, with a Join in osu! button.Polls and @namesIn groups: start a poll with up to 8 answers, and write @name to send someone a notification.GroupsThe owner can upload a group picture and make an invite link: everyone with the link can join.Search, mute, blockSearch all your messages on the left, or one chat with at the top. There you also mute a chat (1 hour, 8 hours or until you turn it back on), block or report a player.PicturesPaste pictures with Ctrl+V or drag them into the chat, several at once. Click a picture to see it big.Small chat windowThe round chat button at the bottom right of every page opens your chats without leaving the page. Turn it off in Chat settings.Now playingThe top of a chat shows what your friend is doing in osu! right now.SupportersOwn colour for your messages, a background for the chat, your own stickers (checked by the team first), pictures up to 15 MB, any emoji as a reaction – and your messages are never cleaned up.60 days: to keep the server fast, messages are removed 60 days after they were sent. Messages written by supporters stay.
8Suggestions & bugs
Have an idea or found something broken? Open Suggestions & Bugs (menu Community or the box on the home page), pick Suggestion or Bug report, say where it happens (website, in-game, launcher, Discord), write a title and the details and add a screenshot if you like. Only you and the team can see it. Staff marks it as seen, planned / confirmed, added / fixed or declined and can answer you – you get a notification and see everything under Your messages on the same page. For bans and account problems please still open a ticket on Discord.
9Medals & notifications
Medals19 Kuroosu medals like First #1, Sniper, Champion, 10,000pp, On Fire (7 day daily streak), Challenger, War Winner, Recruiter and Tournament Winner. You get a message when you unlock one. A new top play or a new #1 greets you with confetti on your profile.The bellThe at the top shows new badges, medals, comments, reviewed map submissions, tournament news and more.10Invite your friends
Get your own invite link in Settings → Invite friends. Everyone who signs up with it counts for you – invite 3 active players for the Recruiter medal and a spot on the Hall of Fame.
11News, themes & stats
Supporters pick their own colour theme for the website with the button in the menu: gold, pink, blue, purple, green or red.
Menu music: turn it on in the website settings at the top. It plays the songs of the most played maps on Kuroosu, the next song starts when one ends. Skip, pause, change the volume or make the player small – it keeps playing when you open other pages.
News shows newly ranked maps, big plays, tournaments, clan war winners, new champions and updates. Server Stats shows players online, plays per day and the most played maps. All updates of the website are in the changelog.
12Team, reports and your account
TeamThe Team shows who is staff and what they do. Staff never asks for your password.Report a playerSaw a cheater, a multi-account or someone being toxic? Click the flag on their profile or Report on a score, or go to Report a player. Only you and the staff see it, and you get a notification when it is handled.LanguageThe website is in English, German, Polish, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese and Japanese. It picks your browser's language; change it in the palette menu at the top (Language).MultiplayerMultiplayer matches shows every lobby with all maps, scores and who won. Tournament staff can take match results right from a lobby.Two-factor loginProtect your account with a code from an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, …): Settings → Security. Staff need it for the admin panel. pp calculatorpp calculator (Beatmaps menu, and on every beatmap page): pick a map, mods and accuracy – same pp as in the game. Logged in, it shows how much your profile would go up.What should I play?What should I play? finds maps around your level (the average stars of your 20 best plays) that you never passed, plus plays you can still improve. The dice gives you a random one.RivalsPress Rival on up to 3 profiles. You get a message (website and in-game) when a rival beats your score, and Rivals shows who is ahead.WrappedYour Wrapped (menu under your name): your year on Kuroosu as slides – plays, hours, favourite maps, best play and more. Share the link with your friends.Share picturesSave as picture on every score and the picture button on profiles make a nice image for Discord or Instagram. Links to profiles and scores show this picture in Discord automatically.Profile viewsProfiles count their visitors (once per hour). SkillsProfiles show a chart with Aim, Speed, Accuracy, Stamina, Consistency and Mods, worked out from the 25 best plays (osu! modes, from 5 ranked top plays on).Map collectionsCollections are lists of beatmaps made by players. Add a map with the layer button on its page, share the link, keep a list private if you like. Up to 30 collections with 300 maps each.CountriesThe country leaderboard ranks countries by the pp of their players in every mode.Clan levelClans collect XP from passed plays, new personal bests and clan wars, level up and unlock badges. The clan page also shows plays per day, the clan's pp over time, its best play and its Discord, language and what players it looks for.15Store
StoreThe store has Supporter packs (also as a gift for another player) and extras that stay for ever: one name change, one avatar frame, a coloured name. Nothing in it gives pp or ranks.How to payLog in, press Buy, copy your order code and paste it into the message when you pay on Ko-fi. The order page changes by itself once the payment arrived, usually within a minute.16Voting
VoteOn the vote page press Vote now and type your Kuroosu name on osu-server-list.com. You can vote every 24 hours, the home page shows when you can vote again.RewardsBadges for 10, 50, 100 and 365 votes, chat sticker packs for a vote streak of 7 and 30 days (vote again within 48 hours to keep it), and the player with the most votes in a month gets the badge "Top Voter" and 7 days of Supporter.
